Jobs
Producer (f/m/d)Fulltime (Start date: As soon as possible)Hamburg-based, with flexible & hybrid working
ABOUT US
At The Sweetspot, a passion for creativity drives us to make unique, meaningful work that evokes emotion and sparks curiosity. We’re approachable, warm, and committed to a respectful environment where everyone can do their best work — and we hold every project to the same standard of care and excellence, no matter the budget.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Producer (f/m/d) to lead our productions from the first inquiry through to final delivery, and to be a driving force on the team.
You hold creative ambition, feasibility, timing, scope, and budget together in one hand, and act as a sparring partner for directors, creatives, agencies, and clients. You recognize what makes an idea strong, where it can be sharpened, and how to turn it into a production approach that works for everyone — knowing when an image needs to be thought of bigger, and when it’s smarter to approach it differently.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
3+ years of professional experience as a producer in advertising film / commercial production. Experience managing pitch processes, supervising productions all the way from pitch through to final delivery. A strong sense for working closely with creatives on direction, concept, tone, visual language, and storytelling for commercial productions. The ability to translate creative visions into realistic production approaches and cost estimates (GWA Scope), focusing on both quality and cost-effectiveness. Strong communication skills with directors, agencies, creative teams, and clients — national and international — as well as a high degree of empathy. A well-established network of crew and service providers, including experience with shoots abroad and service productions. Business fluent (written and spoken) in English. German is welcomed but not compulsory.
Bonus:
Experience with hybrid / AI-supported production approaches. A curiosity for new tools and technology, and a willingness to experiment.
WHAT WE OFFER
A warm, inclusive team culture and a flat communication structure. Creative freedom and genuine ownership across a wide range of projects. Flexible and hybrid working. Mindful of rest: we look after holidays, time off in lieu, and the mental wellbeing of the whole team. Support for your professional development and fair pay that we review regularly. A small, agile team and a diverse network of talents to collaborate with. A central office in the heart of Hamburg. Corporate benefits like an Urban Sports Club subsidy. The best espresso, matcha and fizzy drinks in the office. Cultural corporate events, workshops, awards, and more.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION
We’re building a workplace where creativity meets purpose and every voice matters. As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome all applications — regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social background, religion or belief, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. We don’t tolerate discrimination, harassment, or victimization in any form, and we use gender-sensitive, inclusive language across everything we do.
HOW TO APPLY
Send your CV, a short cover letter, and a link to your favorite commercials and/or directors to jobs@thesweetspot.co. We look forward to hearing from you.
