Jan Vrhovnik is a Slovenian-born, London-based, multi-award-winning cinematographer and filmmaker celebrated for his documentary-style approach to fictional storytelling. Known for his timeless and sincere work, Vrhovnik’s films often unfold in naturalistic settings, where he captures authenticity, subtle humor, and the overlooked beauty of everyday life. Since moving to London at 18, Vrhovnik has honed his craft, viewing film as a psychological medium that invites audience interpretation and identification.
